Church?
My kids have set up a church with the blocks! We got the GI Joes and Barbies dressed before the videos and pictures were taken but it was quite funny when the Pastor didn’t have pants on – now he has pants but no shirt. This is a very layed back church. They’re singing and praying …it’s really hysterical. The videos are too long to upload ….I’m so sad!!!! I’ll try to get them on youtube today…

I’m not the most thankful person in the world… I have to make a big effort sometimes to really think about the things I am thankful for – it doesn’t come naturally. It’s sad, but true. Anyways, my kids are the total opposite! For Mother’s Day Uriah asked them why they loved me, and he wrote their answers down on a card – the answers were precious! So I did the same for Uriah’s birthday and Father’s Day and once again, their answers were just priceless. Since then they tell me at least once a day how thankful they are for something I did – usually something that is so little too. It’s a good reminder to me to be thankful in all things -
I had to point out – that lizzard in the picture is about a foot long! You can’t tell in the picture ….just so you understand how creepy he is. hehe
Soldier asked me to help him find this lizzard that ran away from him…..
He ran around the back patio for a while, enough time to let me get a picture or two ..then he took off. Anyways, I told Soldier no – I was too scared. lol He said “Mom, you’re the weak one in this house! I’ll get dad to help…”
Last week Uriah and I went to check on Soldier after he went to bed …Soldier had this TINY little barbie soon, about the size of a dime held up against his window. He said HELP I’ve got a fly in here! Sure enough, he caught a fly with this tiny pink spoon!
I have more stories about Soldier than I do Mimi – she’s such a little girl, I love it! She could spend hours in her room JUST trying on her clothes! She found a box of clothes that are too big for her – she’s been trying on everything almost everyday. She’s super into clothes and shoes – she LOVES and appreciates anything beautiful! She is just so sweet!

My five year old son told me today, “Mom, I love you when you correct me..if you never correct me, i don’t love you much at all.” ?!?!? How precious is that?!?
Uriah and I got a date night last night – Jon and Megan watched the kids and Uriah and I went to Chilis and a movie!! The kids fell asleep so we got a whole night! The Killers was hysterical – we laughed a lot. We’re so very thankful they watched our kiddos – the kids came back with all these fun fun stories about playing hide and seek in their massive house! Now onto a very busy week!!
