Thanks to Geoff and Mon we have a ton of boxes! So, I’m packing up everything ….somehow Uriah and I have a ton of stuff from our childhood so it’s been fun going through everything before it gets packed up. I found a lot of pictures of Libby when she was little – so I am keeping them aside just for Caleb.
This Friday night Uriah gets back – flies in the same time as Libby and Caleb actually. Then Saturday night we are all going to Ruth’s Chris – I cannot WAIT for that. I can’t wait to see my parents, my sisters and meet Caleb and I cannot wait to go back to Ruth’s Chris – it’ll be a fun weekend!
So it’s official. We’re moving to Phoenix, Arizona. Uriah is there now trying to find a house for us – which makes me a little bit nervous but oh well.
I took the kids to the park today – I’m amazed at how quickly Soldier makes friends. He ran up to a group of kids and immediately got accepted into the group. The kids have done really well with just one parent. I thought it’d be a lot harder this week without Uriah but it’s going okay.
I made a fun recipe for the kids tonight and it turned out to be really terrific! Ground beef with taco seasoning, mashed potatoes on top of the cooked ground beef – corn on top of that – then I added velveeta over the whole top – cook until it’s all bubbly! The kids loved it!!
Six Sisters Beadworks
I’m a jewelry fanatic – I LOVE really well made jewelry – I recently bought one of these bracelets for my grandmother. It was beautiful!!! It was made with real silver, gorgeous crystals and I had my grandfather’s name “Jack” put on it – he died last year. I’m interested in buying another one soon for myself – if you are interested in winning one go here…
I also have linked to them on the right …Six Sisters Beadworks… some of the best jewelry I’ve ever seen!
Uriah is off to Phoenix on Sun for a week! Not cool! At least I’ll have plenty of house stuff to keep my busy – and thankfully I’ve got friends to spend time with – it’ll be lonely without him.
My son LOVES the Wii – he’s figured out how to play different war games! It’s kinda hilarious to watch him play – how do 4 and 5 year olds pick up on this stuff?
You can really see evidence of the fall in the gym….
I joined this gym about half a mile down the road from my house – cheap cheap cheap and I love it. It’s all moms or old men. lol I was on the ellyptical yesterday and usually I have these moms or old women beside me and they are going so much slower than I am it’s not a challenge – but yesterday this old man got on the machine beside me and was flying ….seriously, so I had to go as fast as he was. I am incredibly sore today.
Looks like everyone is feeling somewhat better today – which is great timing, I have about 9 loads of laundry to do! I’m thankful for downy making that job somewhat fun.
On the lookout for boxes today ….need to start packing up some things in my house.
