I hear people in Denison Texas got snow! Here, all my windows are open – it’s soooo nice outside! Pictures for the house changed – they’re coming tomorrow. We were really thankful to have another day -The kids are loving Uriah and I being so busy – they get to play the Wii everyday, watch movies, etc. Anything to keep them busy and not fighting. It’ll be good to finally get to Arizona and get some structure.
Side note – I love having friends who are fitness instructors!! Leah just got her certificate so she’s writing me up a plan – I’m so pumped!
Today should be relaxing but it is not. Tomorrow morning we have someone coming to take pictures so our house can go on the market – not fun. We remembered last minute that Soldier’s room needed to be painted – so I put on the first coat and realized the marker on his wall was bleeding through. After one more coat plus two coats of primer it is still bleeding through. Little stinker.
Pray we don’t go crazy!!!
Sad…
Today Caleb and Libby flew back to Idaho. My sister Vickie went with them – she has moved. And today I packed up all my pictures in my house. My guest room is taken apart and getting filled with boxes. It’s kind of a sad day.
Grandparents
If you don’t have a toddler, I don’t think you’ll appreciate this as much. My son (he’s almost five) is a little man. My mom and Dad gave my kids 15 dollars EACH (Did I mention that they are the first two grandkids? hehe) just because. Talk about a treat!! So today I have some major house work to get done and I figured I’d take them over to Big Lots to spend some money and get some toys to keep them occupied. They both picked out some puzzles, huge coloring books etc. We got up to the counter and I didn’t do or say a thing – Soldier walked up with his stuff, put it up on the counter then waited until the woman gave him his total. He handed her his 15 – she gave him his change – then he asked for a receipt! The woman behind the counter about died laughing! Naomi did everything Soldier did. I never said anything – seriously, it was one of the cutest things ever. I have two little adults.
How fun are these clothes for little girls?!?!? Naomi’s birthday is on April 1st ….it’s tempting to buy one for her!
Enchilladas!
I think I posted this before but I’m reposting it for those of you that keep asking me for the recipe everytime you make it.
They’re SO easy and so great – my company always loves this recipe!
4 Boneless Chicken Breasts
2 Packages of Cream Cheese
1/2 cup of diced onions
Flour tortillas
Shredded Cheese
Heavy Whipping Cream
Start by sauteing the onions – once they’re done add the cream cheese – cook until melted – add 1/2 cup of Heavy Whipping Cream and all the chicken, diced up. I like to grill my chicken first – but you can boil it if you’d like – fill the tortillas, cover in cheese then pour 1 cup of Heavy Whipping Cream over all of it. Cook at 350 (covered) until the tortillas are crispy – about an hour or two! Voila!
My son kicks butt at Nintendo Wii! He loves the army games …he’s really into army stuff so I’m praying he never actually wants to join.ha!
Uriah gets in tonight! I’m going to Trader Joes for some fun food, the liquor store for some vodka and we’re having a date night! I’m so pumped!
Naomi asked me last week if it was the 20th century? Hmm….where did you get that and how are you already asking questions I can’t answer at 3??? lol
