Fun fun day

Our church was canceled today – due to snow and ice – so it ended up just being a fun/lazy family day.  Tyler picked up Soldier and took him to Cary Christian School for some sledding. A little bit later Uriah, Naomi and I went – the kids had a blast!  Later we took them to “Cloudy with a chance of Meat Balls” – cute movie!!  Pictures and videos are up on Uriah’s facebook if you are interested. :)

Cute little boy getting a hair cut!

Almost done!!!!

Little things that make me happy – like this glass pitcher my mom gave me – the table is filthy from all the tile work – but the pitcher is so pretty and the juice makes my kids happy. :)

Yesterday as I dealt with a disobedience issue with my son, he said to me “Mom, You’re fired from this job!”

Welcome Jaden Noah Park!!!

I can’t wait to meet you!!!

Projects ….the helpers….my kids :)

Think it’ll be hard to cook for the next week??

:)

Since we’ve lived in NC we have been able to watch Tyler and Chelsea grow up – literally.  Tyler’s going on 20 and Chels is going to be 18 – it’s crazy!! I have a picture of both of them from my wedding and they were 10 and 12! Talk about cute! :) Now they’re both so grown up – they’re both mature (for the most part! ;) ) Christians who want to serve God and everyone around them. Last night Chelsea babysat for me for my birthday – today Tyler came by to chat with Uriah – I’m just really impressed with how they’ve turned out and we’re really thankful they’re both in our lives.

As far as the house goes …..my house ALWAYS feels like a disaster. I can’t seem to keep anything clean with the remodeling going on. Oh well – it’ll be worth it in the end. Thankfully Dave and Connie are coming to help out!!  I couldn’t be more thankful for that!

Today I’m especially thankful for my church and my elders.  They have NEVER ending patience with us – with everyone in the church – the kindness, generosity, love and compassion they have exhibited is really amazing!  I especially love the humor they add to everything – somehow they always find a way to be cheerful and to laugh.  We are so blessed!!

Hilarious!!!

Oh my word…

I went outside to get the front door rug before it started raining and there was a huge poster saying “Happy Birthday” and my front yard is decorated in FORKS. lol  I think they write out “25″ – Tyler and Chelsea, I love you both!!!

Little things make me happy. Like, the oldies station on yahoomusic.  It reminds me of Noni singing loudly and dancing. Or Chicago songs my parents used to sing together.  It’s just fun get up and go music to clean the house to.

Looking forward to a date night with Uriah tonight – Chilis and then a cafe in downtown Cary.   But first, more house work …………….
