Judy Rogers
“Why can’t I see God?” is a cd I grew up on …recently, my kids started singing the pop songs that I played on the radio. I’d rather my kids NOT sing “lolli lolli pop that body” …..so I pulled out Judy Rogers. I used to really hate it when mom would turn this on – mostly because it wasn’t cool – but I learned a lot through the words of her music. Now my kids know answers to questions like “what is a sacrament?” She has little kids singing with her too which makes it all the more fun for my 4 and 3 yr old! I can still remember every single word to the songs ….well, at least every word that I remember correctly. There’s one verse that says “To signify, and apply God’s covenant to our lives.” And up until recently I thought it was “To signify, and defy God’s Covenant to our lives.” hehe
