There are 6 things, even 7, that the Lord hates..things he cannot stand…Proud looking eyes…

Every single Word I say….You know it before before I speak

You know every thought the deeper part of me

You draw me closer than I see

You presence is everything I need

To be the child that you created me to be

I’m ready now to see it your way

Lay Down My pride

My desires

My Demise

I’m ready now to see it your way

I’m Done I’m Through Ignoring you, You know it’s true

I’m Kneeling at the cross of your Grace

Laying Down My Pride

I was faced with Passing Time, but I knew the choice was Mine

To finally Come To You, and Give you all control

I wondered miles to find my way, then you revealed this simple faith

I know that you can see the Secrets of my Soul

Lay Down my Pride, My desires, my demise

I’m through ignoring you, I’m kneeling at the Cross of you grace.

The Cross, the Blood you shed for me

Your Back was ripped and bruised, So I can know your truth

I kneel, I bow to you, My King

Lay Down My Pride, My desires, My demise

I’m ready now to see it your way

I’m Done I’m Through…Ignoring You…

You know it’s true, I’m kneeling at the cross of your grace

Lay Down My Pride  – Third Day

This song encouraged me today…I heard a sermon by Jim Wilson on humility.  The 7 things God hates, things He cannot Stand…the first one is PRIDE.  The very first on the list is Pride.  Jim Wilson talks about being humbled so that you can be exalted….the sermon is SO wonderful and I don’t want to tell anything else about it or I’ll botch it up but go listen to it.  Then listen to the song. ;)   It’s motivating.

A New Update

We got to go with Uriah to Florida (My pictures in facebook were in an album entitled “flo rida” get it? haha).  It was a blast and a much needed vacation …anyways, while Ria was at his conference Soldier, Mimi and I got to go to the beach and get a tan.  Ok, I got to tan..the kids looked for fish and sharks. ;) At one point we went walking down the beach. We must have walked a couple of miles!  I couldn’t believe how far they wanted to go!  Soldier was looking for the BIGGEST sea shells and Naomi was going for the purple ones.  hehe At one point, Naomi made a comment that cracked me up and surprised me at how much she knows.  She said “I don’t need the big shells, I’m not a boy.”  I guess even at 3, you realize boys want the biggest rocks, toys, lizzards, etc.  They are so smart and they make me laugh ALL the time.  Soldier is intense…everything he does he does with full force.  When he hugs you, he squeezes until you can’t breathe.  When Naomi hugs you, it’s so timid and petite.  lol I am loving the differences between them.

I’m going to go spend some time with Ria, just wanted to give a little update….:)  Good night!
